Your CareCrew is a professional nanny and home-care placement agency. By signing this form, the Customer agrees to the following:
1. Basic policy
All CareCrew (babysitters, nannies, attendants, nurses) are engaged through Your CareCrew and are not the Customer’s personal employees. The Customer must not directly hire, retain or privately pay a CareCrew introduced by us, during or after a placement, without our written consent.
If a CareCrew makes a direct offer to the Customer, the Customer must inform the Agency. Before any placement, we verify the CareCrew’s ID and prior work experience.
2. Accident & behaviour
Any misconduct by a CareCrew must be reported to the Agency first; we will act on it. Abusing, assaulting or physically harming a CareCrew is a criminal offence and may lead to legal action.
If an accident, injury or minor medical issue occurs during a placement, the Customer agrees to take reasonable immediate responsibility and to inform the Agency.
3. Replacement
If a CareCrew is unable or unsuitable to continue, we provide up to two (2) replacements. Replacement takes about 5–7 working days (24-hour) or 2–3 working days (daily-basis).
Instant replacement is not guaranteed for daily-basis placements. If a daily-basis CareCrew is absent 3+ consecutive days, a replacement covers the absent period. Replacements may be unavailable on festival days.
4. Increment & bonus
Where a placement continues 6 months or more, the Customer customarily gives the CareCrew a Durga Puja bonus (at the Customer’s discretion).
Where a placement continues for one year, salary is reviewed with a customary increase (guideline ~10% of the previous salary).
5. Billing
Invoices are raised within the first billing week of the joining date and must be paid within the period stated above. Late or part payment is not accepted and may suspend the service.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation is not available mid-contract for 24-hour or daily-basis placements except as agreed here. On instant cancellation by the Customer, the security deposit may be forfeited.
After the agreed number of replacements, the Agency may cancel with 15 days’ notice; any remaining refundable balance is returned within a few working days from the security deposit.
7. Safety & security
For 24-hour placements, the Customer should check the CareCrew’s bag at check-in and check-out (a short video is recommended). Do not release a CareCrew from the home for personal reasons without informing the Agency.
Keep cash, jewellery and valuables locked away. The Agency is not liable for items left unsecured.
The Agency does not provide statutory police-verification or medical certificates unless expressly agreed; on request we share a copy of the CareCrew’s Aadhaar. The Customer may deposit this copy at their nearest police station.
Do not send a child outside the home (park, school, outings) with a CareCrew unless expressly agreed; such activity is at the Customer’s own risk.
8. Accommodation, meals & transport
24-hour: the Customer provides accommodation, four meals a day and daily necessities (soap, oil, shampoo, detergent, toothpaste). Daily-basis: at least breakfast or lunch.
Transport: within Kolkata we send staff by Ola/Uber/Rapido and the Customer covers the fare, or the Customer may collect staff from our office. For out-station placements, the Customer arranges and pays travel from our office to the destination.
9. Leave
The Customer provides 2 paid leave days per month; unused leave carries forward. If the CareCrew works the full month without leave, the Customer pays an agreed amount in lieu.
Conduct: We are courteous to our Customers and expect the same toward our CareCrew and staff. Abuse, shouting or defying these terms may lead to immediate cancellation and forfeiture of the security deposit.
